Executive Management Team
Richard Robinson, the CEO, trained as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa before moving back to Zimbabwe in 1987. He joined Guard-Alert as the Finance Director before being promoted to CEO in 2000. With over three decades of experience in the security industry he has been instrumental in Guard-Alert’s growth and success.
Chamu Ngwerume, the Operations Director, boasts over 20 years of experience in the security industry in roles at leading companies in Zimbabwe and Zambia. His previous roles, including President of the Security Association of Zimbabwe and Chairman of the National Employment Council for Security, highlight his leadership and strategic prowess, making him an invaluable asset to our team.
Vincent Chiwade, the Finance Director, is a Chartered Management Accountant with nearly two decades of experience in both Zimbabwe and abroad across multiple industries including mining, asset management and security.
James Murakata, the Human Resources Director. With his expertise in Human Resources Management, he is dedicated to creating a nurturing work environment for our personnel.
Ted Robinson, the General Manager for Pinpoint Tracking. With over 30 years of experience in marketing in South Africa and Ethiopia Ted used his operational expertise and customer focus to successfully launch of the vehicle tracking division of Guard-Alert in 2016. Since then, he has overseen its growth into a trusted provider of satellite tracking and fleet management solutions
Lawrence Makechemu, the General Manager for SECTRA, brings nearly two decades of experience in security and training, complemented by his background in teaching. His wealth of knowledge enhances the effectiveness of our operations.
John Muzarewetu, the General Manager for Armsec, boasts nearly 30 years of experience gained through various roles at Guard-Alert. His extensive expertise spans across all facets of the security industry, making him a valuable asset to our team.
Andy Coles, the General Manager of Guard-Alert Electronics, brings extensive IT and business transformation experience from the UK. Under his leadership, the Electronics Division is now positioned to meet the demands of an ever-evolving electronic security landscape, delivering cutting-edge and innovative solutions to clients.
