Guard-Alert Security was founded in 1977 by Peter Robinson. He had a vision: to create a security company that not only protected property but also provided peace of mind. With just 50 guards and 5 branches, Guard-Alert Security was born. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown to over 5,000 employees across 29 branches across Zimbabwe delivering reliable, efficient, and responsive security across residential, commercial, industrial, and high-risk sectors.

We have grown in response to emerging crime trends and technological advancements, evolving into one of Zimbabwe’s biggest and most respected security companies.

Our Divisions

Guard-Alert is structured into five specialised divisions to deliver integrated and professional security services across Zimbabwe:

  2. Guard-Alert Electronics – CCTV, intruder alarms, rapid response and access control systems
  3. ARMSEC – Armed security, armoured vehicles, escorts, and cash-in-transit (CIT) services
  4. SECTRA – Accredited training division for security guards, dog units, and handlers
  5. Pinpoint Tracking – GPS vehicle tracking, fleet management, and reporting systems
